Earlier today a vehicle carrying Republican presumptive presidential candidate Mitt Romney swerved from the road onto the curb and killed the spokesman for GEICO Insurance who was there filming a commercial in his walk around America series. The GEICO gecko was walking along the curb out of traffic making his pitch for the company when an SUV carrying Romney and guarded by the secret service, apparently seeing the camera crew and mistaking them for a news crew suddenly swerved and came across the curb. The GEICO gecko was killed instantly and reports stated that there "was nothing left but a thin green line" where the world famous gecko had just stood. This is the second death of a celebrity pitchman in a few month period of time as the Priceline Negotiator was recently killed when his bus plunged off of a bridge.
Police have been called to the scene and a warrant has been issued for the Romney caravan. Romney was supposedly seen laughing at the event as his vehicle sped away unimpeded.
