7 Reported Dead as Vehicle Falls From Parkway at Bronx Zoo
As many as seven people were believed to have been killed after a vehicle went
over the Bronx River Parkway Sunday afternoon and fell to the street below, just
south of the Bronx Zoo, a spokesman for the Fire Department said.
Three of the dead are children, the spokesman, Jim Long, said. All the victims
are believed to be have been in the vehicle, Mr. Long said.
