ONLY in Florida is Marco Rubio considered to be even Latino let alone Hispanic. And even within the Cuban community there he sort of screwed himself when it was revealed that he had embellished his family's history with respect to his parents being 'refugees' who fled Cuba to avoid the wrath of Fidel Castro (they actually arrived in the US while Castro was still hiding out in the jungles of Mexico putting together his 'revolution' and it would be nearly three later before he actually returned to Cuba to execute his plans, by which time Rubio's parent were already legal residents of the US):

A more recent take on how Rubio would relate to the rest of the 'Hispanic' population in America:

re: "Here's Muffins problem:"

You can take Latinos and Hispanics off of that list as soon as he announces that Rubio is his running mate.

That will give Romney a lock on Florida, too.
