"In fact, at lunch today, a friend of mine commented that Obummer is in real trouble because "none of the Republicans who swung to the left in 2008 will do that this time."

And he's right."

I also think he's correct.

Here's Muffins problem:

1. Women
2. Latinos
3. Hispanics
4. Youth
5. Gays
6. Blacks

The only lock Muffins has at this point, White Men.

re: "Many republicans can't stomach him. Some would rather Obama get another four & then put a candidate of their liking up."

You're undoubtedly right - because this is a very big country. "Some" republicans will feel that way in November.

But not a single one that I've spoken to, clo. Not one. In fact, at lunch today, a friend of mine commented that Obummer is in real trouble because "none of the Republicans who swung to the left in 2008 will do that this time."

And he's right.
