So ...

Immediately after the SA was initially closed in late January, management rushes out to buy the following shares with their own money ...

Steven Clontz buys 10,000 shares @ $36.43 spending $364,300.

Bill Merritt buys 6,828 shares @ $36.52 spending $249,359.

Janet Point 1,500 @ $36.29 spending $54,435.

In all totaling nearly $700K.

After that, from February 1, 2012 - February 29, 2012 the Company repurchased 617,700 shares at an average price of $38.29 for $23.7 million.

From March 1, 2012 - March 31, 2012 the Company repurchased 43,212 at an average price of $38.78 for $1.7 million.

And from April 1, 2012 through April 25, 2012, The Company repurchased 700K shares for $24.7 million.

So the market with their computer trading is supposed to know better than the Company and Management ... bullshit. This stock is undeniably being manipulated by hedge funds and option writers. Put an end to this management, sell this thing. Your enemy are the hedge funds, MMs and option writers who have squatted on your Company.

dealReporter speaks of asset sales, a reinitiating of the SA if you will, with an entire sale being considered. First round of bidding is coming to a close. Management is tight lipped now about specifics, yet showed in January by putting their money where their mouth is. Evercore had better earn their pay and make a market out of the demand and optimize the price.
