If the Ipad was not included in the license, wouldn't an earlier version have required a new license?
Look at the recent Acer and Pantech agreements in the April 9th release. They were amended to add "tablets." This was an amended agreement to an already existing 3G and 4G agreement. This is the first mention of tablets in any agreement and it appears with a specific mention. In 2012. No way "tablets" were included in the original Apple agreement in mid-2007. Bill went out of his way to talk about these types of opportunities in the context of the Apple discussion in today's call. This Pantech and Acer agreements show a precedent of such amendments that Bill talked about.
If "tablets" are the "other" devices and Jobs used a Jedi mind trick to include these in mid-2007, Management should be tar, feathered and shot ... no fucking way that happened. I don't care what ones thoughts of current management are ... they are not that fucking stupid. Although secretive about Apple, they always seem to go out of the way to hint at something more, see Terry adding to Bill's response at last years ASM.
Again, Apple is not listed as an LTE license. I also look at Bill, Terry and Janet buying shares with their own money earlier this year. They knew something was up and they didn't spend their own money because they felt sorry for us.
