Management hinted that the process was reaching a milestone and closing. They were confident in it's finality in the short term and also added the caveat that others were motivated in trying to keep patents away from others which would in theory increase the bidding and/or motivate other licensing negotiations. Evercore had better be creating a market, it sounds like they are doing just that. This is all about value, question is how much.
And keep in mind the following quote from the article:
