No, because you ignore the fact that he should have arrested that schmuck that first day. That's why. That schmuck was arrested 42 days later because this jerk did not arrest him that night.

Because I refuse to choose a side? Because I insist on facts and information before making a decision?

If the facts boil out to show that Zimmerman attacked and killed Trayvon for no reason, then it's too bad he's only being tried for manslaughter - it should be 2nd degree murder.

If the facts boil out to show that Zimmerman was truly defending himself from actions he did not cause, then he should be exonerated.

Either way, there will be a contingent of people who think the outcome is wrong and/or unfair, and I expect riots will ensue.

No one is going to win this fight.

As far as the police chief, if he botched up the investigation, he should be fired - not allowed to resign.
