There was an actual case a few months ago where PETA (I think) sent a drone over a field where a quail-shoot was taking place. Consequently, they cancelled the quail-shoot, but one of the irritated hunters shot down PETA's drone.

I don't know if they arrested anyone for that or not, but my sympathies were definitely with the hunters.

LOL I just remembered, I was watching Harrys law a couple weeks ago, and they had a small spy drone flying around here yard and she came out with a shotgun and shot the damn thing down haaaaaaaaaaa The feds were at her door in minutes. She came them good chit about it........
