Let's see what happens next.

Several years ago, before we were acquired by Siemens, they got caught up in a bribery scandal which eventually resulted in 2 CEO's being fired for cause, one of them was later taken to court by the corporation and sued for $5 million. I suspect that nothing like that will happen to anyone at Wal-Mart. Perhaps a couple of low-level execs will be made examples of for the sake of the media, but that will be about it.

Wal-Mart Hushed Up Vast Mexico Bribery Case After Top-Level Struggle

An investigation by The New York Times examines a vast bribery case by Wal-Mart
in Mexico and describes a prolonged struggle within the company that pitted its

its relentless pursuit of growth.

Wal-Mart became aware of the situation in Mexico from a former executive, who
explained how the company’s Mexican division had orchestrated a campaign of
bribery to win market dominance. But instead of deciding to expand an internal
investigation, Wal-Mart’s leaders decided to shut it down.
