We don't know how many of you people have read the stand your ground law in Florida, however, we have. The first line of it states unequivocally that it only applies if you are not breaking another law. George Zimmerman was stalking Trayvon Martin with a gun which is a violation of the law. In addition to that, Travon Martin was a minor and whether George Zimmerman knew that or not, under the law, he is still a minor. It is the same principle that states that if a person of age has sex with a person under age, particularly a female, even though that person may have looked of age, they are still guilty of a crime.
As far as all of this preaching and pontificating about liberal versus conservative on this board goes, this is simply a capital murder case in the state of Florida, and, nothing more or nothing less.
