I'm coming up on 10,000 coins in my collection, which I've been working on since I was in grade school. For years I considered myself an accumulator as I would check all my change and put away anything over a certain age, but in the last 2 or 3 years I've started to actually buy coins and fill in all the holes in collection. I have no Gold but I do have a fair amount of Silver.

That particular one went for $1M today or yesterday... Interesting they shortened INDUSTRY to INDUST because they ran out of room, today, engravers would have shrunk it a little, kept the RY, I think...

I had visions of finding a full set of modern coins in the 50s, have a few mercury dimes, other silver coins, I should pass them along, but so far I don't see any interest by any of the Grandkids...
