Being someone who collects "Old Money" (a Numismatist) what I wouldn't give for that particular coin.
It's referred to as the 'Silver Center Birch Cent'. It was only minted in 1792 and there are only 14 known to exist. The last one to change hands went for something like $750,000.
There were also 10 larger 'Birch Cents' minted without the 'silver center'.
Note that there were also Silver and Copper Half Dimes and Dimes, minted with this same design in 1792.
There were 1,500 Silver Half Dimes but only ONE Copper Half Dime minted in 1792. And there three Silver Dimes and 15 Copper Dimes known to exist, but that's about it.
BTW, the 'Birch' was referring to Robert Birch, the Mint's master engraver at the time.
