Sorry, clo, but...
Once again, the story below isn't factoring in the enormous advantage the states themselves now give the "Red" candidate. Or that Romney has been under attack for months, while Obummer has skated free -- a "free ride" that is about to end for the White-Black one.
This is turning out to be as easy a call as the November 2008 election (which I had posted by EOY 2006 that the Democrats would easily win.)
Since records have been kept (which probably means 60 years or so), no sitting president has been reelected with numbers as bad as Obummer's. And Romney, as we are about to see, is a far stronger candidate than McCain, Dole or GHWB. It isn't easy landing the nomination from a party that loves its conservatives . . . when you aren't fiscally conservative yourself.
In November, Romney will get virtually all of the Conservative vote (and most Americans consider themselves Conservative), and a big chunk of the Liberal vote.

Romney, Obama locked in tie in new poll

Mitt Romney and President Obama are deadlocked in a battle for the White House, as a new poll today follows a trend in national surveys this week showing the likely GOP nominee gaining ground.
Obama and Romney each have 46% support among registered voters in the CBS/New York Times survey, released this morning. Last month, the president had a 3-point lead over Romney, when he was still battling Rick Santorum.
