...we had a good old boy (term used loosely) who either got cut off in traffic or thought he had been so he grabbed his shooting iron out from under the seat or wherever he kept it and started waving it at the other drive. Unbeknownst to Good Old Boy (GOB henceforth) the guy he was waving his weapon at was an off duty deputy on our county department. The deputy got out his cell phone and called the county dispatcher and had em route an on duty patrolman in his direction. The off duty deputy then turned in to a school parking lot (twas a saturday) and the GOB turned in there with him. The on duty deputy and a cast of thousands arrived almost instantaneously. The GOB went to jail for an assortment of things but the most serious of which was carrying a weapon on school grounds. He will be gone for a long long time.
