Beldin, this was just outside of Gallup, New Mexico. The road was higher than the spot where the bird was. The top of the car was probably less than five feet above the ground. (I guess you do not remember when cars were not so tall). And like I said, I filled the hole up with candle wax and sprayed it with white paint. It was hardly noticible. (I have always thought 'outside the box'). The bullet was trapped between the roof and the liner but I moved it over to the side so that it did not rattle around.
Yeah, but ... but ... but ... but ... he had to be pointing that damn thing way down, don'tcha know! Was this bird just on the other side of the car? And, was your friend nine feet tall?
Wow ... I would've hated to have had to explain a bullet hole in my Dad's car! OUCH!
