You know, killthecat is such a humorous hypocrite. He purports to be a rational advocate of higher learning ... where everything is questioned ... but, at the same time, he's so thin-skinned that he takes immediate umbrage whenever anyone has the temerity to even question the veracity of the long-standing, self-serving marketing ploy that pompously claims that no education anywhere else can possibly compare with the exorbitantly priced education one can obtain at an Ivy League institution of higher indoctrination. For killthecat, it's all about that designer label ... the self-affixed label that tries to appropriate a mantle of superiority ... the dearly purchased, plastic badge from the Cracker Jack box that Ivy League elitist-wanna-bes agitatedly wave around to "prove" that they are smarter than everyone else and should be allowed to lead ... simply because they say so. ROTFLMAO!
killthecat is constantly pissing and moaning about how the so-called "elites" on Wall Street and in government are unethically, if not criminally, screwing the American people on a daily basis ... and I do not necessarily disagree with that assessment ... BUT, where does this sanctimonious, Havaad pinhead think these "captains of industry" and "captains of government" come from, eh? Yep, that's right ... the vast majority of these problem children were ejumacated at the over-hyped, pedigreed indoctrination centers of the Ivy League ... where, with the right connections and for the right price, you too will be indulged and schooled in the ways of arrogant condescension. Facts are, however, the Ivy Leaguer "elitists" are not anywhere near as smart as they think they are ... more often than not, the wisdom of their decisions do not fare very well at all in comparison with those of the average man on the street who learned a lot of his lessons from the School of Hard Knocks ... but that is because their indoctrinated arrogance deludes them into believing that only they have all the answers and should lead everyone else around by the nose. So, in the end, the Ivy Leaguer "elitists" ignore the innate wisdom of The Declaration of Independence and The United States Constitution ... that every American citizen has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness without interference from the likes of condescending busybodies who erroneously believe they have the right to tell everyone else what to do and how to do it simply because they purchased a sheepskin from the Ivy League ... and royally screw everything up through sheer greed and buffoonery. But, that's okay to them ... they make sure that they and their friends get their cut of the action before everything craters, don'tcha know!
As for my "nonexistent" relatives, killthecat ... my immediate family and that of my wife represent degrees (many of which are post-graduate degrees) from Smith, Wellesley, Cal-Berkeley, Duke, Stanford, and Harvard, as well as from the University of Kansas, the University of Texas, the Ohio State University, and others. No big deal ... we all put our pants on one leg at a time ... and no one has any trouble holding their own in any discussion on the issues of the day. There is no condescending arrogance reminiscent of a two-year-old wrapped in an adult body ... mainly because none of us put much credence in educational designer labels and we respect each person's life experience and ability to think for one's self ... unlike you ... which is why you are such a humorous hypocrite. Speaking of law schools ... my sister-in-law's alma mater, Harvard, does not fare all that well in National Moot Court standings ...
