...I asked my math teacher in colleg how ya finds the square root of a number and she showed me on a calculator. I told her I knew how to do it on a calculator but wanted to know how to do it if I was trapped on a desert island with only a stick and some sand to write in. She didn't know.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
Had a teacher tell me a story one time. A student who had graduated because the teachers passed him because he was too dumb to learn, came to see this teacher. The ex-student asked the teacher if the teacher would teach him how to figure the square root of a number. The guy was trying to get a good paying job but had to be able to figure square roots to get the job. The teacher remembered that the guy could bearly read and write and was not sure he could do simple math but decided to try. The teacher said that within an hour the guy could figure the square root of any number. That was when the teacher figured out that the guy was smart enough to make the teachers think he had mental problems.
