Good, Micro, what did you pay for refurb on that? NOTE: there have been widespread probs with NVidia later drivers and folding. With my 550Ti I'm holding back at 266.71 and the very latest I've bothered with is 280.26, that on a gtx465. There are very recent reports (recent as in just this week) of success with the new 300 series of drivers but they're two days old and I'm waiting for a groundswell of green lights before I do anything in that area. Just food for thought. Good for going ahead with the order though!

Sun,
I have bookmarked that page and will avail myself of it later this year. Thank you so much!

Board, I have ordered a Zotac GTX 550 Ti 1GB DDR5 video card from Geeks.com

The price was too good to pass up, it is a refurb with a 180 day warranty but should be a good replacement for that 9600 GSO card I was using.

Should be here by this time next week I hope. We'll see.

In the meantime, I believe I might go ahead and download the latest nVidia drivers onto the computer while uninstalling the other one I downloaded and installed last week.

I'll check and see. This way I will be ready when that card arrives to go ahead and set up GPU folding again on that machine.

I still have a slot open for my home machine.......

micro...
