BAP. What Micro said. If you don't need any more mem for other existing programs, you won't need it for folding.

People. My backup desktop has been down for many weeks. After trying to restore it, turns out the motherboard is kaput. The machine is four years old. I've decided to upgrade many parts. I run XP on all my machines. It's easier and my legacy programs will work.

Questions: any particular advantage to Windows 7? And does memory count for folding at all or do we know? I was thinking a normal 4G memory.
