If the Acer license, which was signed just a short year ago, did not include tablet devices then I doubt the Apple license signed in 2007 does as well. This gives credence to Ron Shuttleworth's recent thoughts. If Apple iPhone 5 comes out in October with full LTE could Apple be the "promised" major license that Ron spoke about in the 3-6 month time frame? It can't be one of the lawsuit bunch, if not Apple than NEC or RIMM would be the next suspects and would align with the large upfront payments coming due that management speaks about this fall ... and while i'm yammering ... a "promise" is an emotional guarantee ... and Ron used that word twice in his recent report. Management has now gotten emotionally invested in IDCC with recent market insider purchases of stock. If management is throwing around the work "promise" to analysts ... hmmmmm.
