BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. -- Three shootings in one day killed five Hancock County residents. A man suspected in one of the shootings died when he fell from a cell phone tower as police tried to talk him down.
The names of those killed Saturday were being withheld until families could be notified.
Waveland Police told WLOX-TV they believe the man who fell had shot three people in a domestic dispute in Bay St. Louis. Coroner Jim Faul said two were husband and wife.
Meanwhile, deputies are investigating the shooting death of a man in front of a Waveland house.
The fifth death was a man shot in the head while in bed in Kiln. A woman living with him, 37-year-old Virginia Hill, has been charged with murder.
