,..the big reason I doubt global warming is that all the proposed solutions are nothing more than tax increases and wealth redistribution schemes. Ya want to reduce pollution and energy consumption with one act? Outlaw air conditioning in totality. None in motor vehicles, none in buildings, none in homes. Energy consumption and pollution would drop by 20 percent overnight. But wait.... that wouldn't generate any more revenue for the gubmint...
