I gathered a little firewood and got a little exercise. And I only injured myself in two places. Brought a little blood but not enough to worry about. I climbed up on the roof of my building and cut some of the dead wood out of one of Mom's trees. It spreads out over my building and the dry heat and strong wind last summer broke some big limbs. Several are still up there because I cannot get to them right now. I will have to let Mother Nature and gravity reposition them. I just hope they do not do too much damage. But that is part of life. They are predicting we will get some storms tonight, tomorrow, and Monday and Tuesday. I should be out there figuring out how to get some more down but then I have grown lazy. Besides it is almost time to start working on lunch for Mom and me. WELL... any excuse is better than no excuse!
