JOINT STATUS UPDATE REGARDING MOT. NO. 800-59
Pursuant to the ALJ’s request, Complainants InterDigital Communications, LLC,
InterDigital Technology Corporation, and IPR Licensing, Inc. (collectively “InterDigital”),
Respondents Nokia Corporation and Nokia Inc. (collectively “Nokia”), Huawei Technologies
Co., Ltd. and Futurewei Technologies, Inc. d/b/a Huawei Technologies (USA) (collectively
“Huawei”), ZTE Corporation and ZTE (USA) Inc. (collectively “ZTE”), LG Electronics, Inc.;
LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc.; and LG Electronics Mobilecomm U.S.A., Inc. (collectively “LG”),
and the Commission Investigative Staff respectfully submit this joint status update regarding
InterDigial’s Renewed Motion to Amend the Complaint and Notice of Investigation to add
Huawei Device USA as a respondent. (Mot. No. 800-59) (“Motion”).
On March 21, 2012, InterDigital filed its Motion. Counsel for Huawei and the
Commission Investigative Staff did not oppose the motion or the relief requested. (Mot. No. 800-
59 at 3.) At the time of filing, Respondents LG, Nokia, and ZTE all reserved their respective
positions and indicated they would take a position, if any, after reviewing the moving papers.
(Id.) Counsel for Huawei, who accepted service on behalf of proposed respondent Huawei
Device USA, was unaware of Huawei Device USA’s position. (Id.)

The parties now jointly represent as follows:
No party opposes InterDigital’s Motion. In addition, counsel for Respondent
Huawei, who accepted service of the Motion on behalf of proposed Respondent Huawei Device
USA, now represents Huawei Device USA and confirms that Huawei Device USA does not
oppose the motion or the relief requested.
