I was burying a kitten. The mama is a new mama and did not know to chew the bags off as the kittens are born. I did not catch the problem soon enough. The other three seem to be doing well, so far. Last night her sister had kittens. She had them in a box with a plastic bag that was shreaded. She ate the bags off but left enough cord that mixed with the plastic, four were tied together. I cut them apart this morning. Another, older cat, is trying to take over those kittens. Well, such is life.
