BWHA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! Ah, killthecat ... you're so full of shit.
"Under the Obama administration, domestic energy production is at its highest level in eight years."
"Under the Obama administration"? ROTFLMAO! The Obama administration only has control over drilling on public lands, dumbass ... and drilling permits for public lands under your precious Obama administration is way, way down. In other, more direct words, the Obama administration is doing its best to stifle production. Domestic production is up on private land ... something the Obama administration has a much harder time trying to stifle.
"The U.S. has more oil and natural gas drilling rigs than the rest of the world. The number of rigs have exploded in the past three years to 1,272."
Rig count? Well, yeah ... we know how to build the best rigs in the world, but that's just rig count, dumbass ... how many of those rigs are currently in working production here in the United States and how many of 'em have been sent to jobs outside of the United States, eh?
"'After declining to levels not seen since the 1940s, U.S. crude production began rising again in 2009,' writes the Houston Chronicle."
Yeah ... and no thanks to the Obama administration, whatsoever. If it rose in 2009, that means such production got its start many years earlier - during the Bush administration, you goofball. It's already been shown that the Obama administration has had nothing to do with it since they are doing their damnedest to squash drilling permits on public lands.
"The Energy Department confirmed yesterday that the U.S. exported more oil-product than imported for the first time since 1949."
Uh ... "oil-product," killthecat? "Oil-product" can be many, many things, killthecat ... like all sorts of products refined from oil. We are one of the biggest refiners in the world, so naturally we take crude oil from wherever we can get it, refine it into thousands of different products, and ship 'em back out. So, what's your point, pinhead?
"The five oil giants benefited from $200 million more profit for every penny rise in quarterly gas prices. Yet the industry still benefits from $40 billion in subsidies."
The five oil giants spend trillions of dollars exploring for and producing oil & gas around the world, and oil and gas companies pay more into the federal government than any other type of industry. "Subsidies"? That's horseshit ... those aren't subsidies ... you are referring to lawful tax deductions ... you know, tax deductions are the thing General Electric and General Motors use to pay NO federal income tax ... I don't hear you harping on them, while the oil and gas companies keep on paying millions and millions and millions of dollars into the government fisc, now do I, killthecat?
"Misinformation"? Yeah, that's what you are spewing by posting this BS.
