It’s denied. He wasn’t told not to go after Martin. The police told him that he didn’t need to, not that he was being ordered not to.

See? Now THAT may be your problem. You’re way too gullible. You hear things and automatically believe them. You don’t check for yourself to see that they’re false. If you DID, maybe your eyes would be opened . . . and you wouldn’t be liberals any more. (The silver lining to all that extra work you'd need to start doing!)

Zimmerman is the poster child for 'bullies'.

I could care less what color Zimmerman is, the issue is a 17 yr old UNarmed is dead & he was in his neighborhood.

What matters is the altercation - not the fact that the person who ended up dead was 'unarmed' or that the other person had past problems with the police.

Never assume that because someone is 'unarmed' they are innocent.

With one person being 11 years younger, 6" taller, and more physically fit, you have a "disparity of force." The younger, more athletic person may not need an actual weapon in hand to be dangerous. I'm NOT saying anything with regard to Travyon's innocence here - just pointing out that not having a weapon has as much to do with his innocence as wearing white tennis shoes would.

I am watching this case with great interest, and am anxious to see what other information comes to light. The fact that everyone's story appears to be somewhat fluid is disturbing, though.

I never heard where Zimmerman was 'ordered to stay in his vehicle' only that the 911 operator told him that "we don't need you to do that" (follow Martin). I admit, getting out of his car and chasing Trayvon was not a brainy move, especially since Zimmerman appeared to think Martin was armed (even if he wasn't).
