So, try this scenario:

- Person A is sitting in a vehicle. Person B is walking down the street in a deserted area, not far from Person A's vehicle.

- Person A get on the phone with 911, saying Person B is acting 'suspciously.' Person B starts walking toward Person A's vehicle, then goes off in a different direction.

- Person A pursues Person B, trying to see where Person B has gone, to further report to the police.

- Person A turns a corner, and Person B jumps out, knocking Person A to the ground with a haymaker.

- Person A gets back up, and punches Person B back, knocking Person B into a curb and killing Person B.

In this case, I would say Person A is acting in self-defense.

The fact is, none of us were there, and we don't have all the information yet. I do wish Zimmerman had stayed on the phone, though.
