For all the people claiming Zimmerman acted in "self defense" - did he go to the hospial? No, his total "wounds" were a bloody nose and grass on his shirt back.
What I think happened - we know everything up to the initial confrontation. He confronts Travon in the beligerant matter which he had used up to that point, Travon probably punched him in the nose and knocked him down. At which point he pulls his gun, Travon starts screaming for help - and gets shot.
Zimmerman's life, obviously, was never in danger, not even a little bit. His PRIDE was wounded, but he was never in danger.
The cops who responded should ALL be fired for not bothering to do even the minimum amount of police work required when showing up to a scene where an armed man has just murdered an unarmed child half his size. Oh, though, the kid was black and wearing a hoodie, so obviously he was a gangsta up to no good....
1)The other kid that was there said that it was Trayvon pleading for help and that the police were trying to coerce him into saying that it was Zimmerman.
2) Who would you expect to be pleading for help a great big guy with a gun or a kid.
3) The pleading stopped immediately with the gun shot.
Zimmerman is a thug wannabe cop that no doubt will be dealt with. The big problem is a police force that tampers with a witness, tells the kid's parents about Zimmerman's "squeaky clean" record when they were aware of his previous arrest, just takes the guy's word for what happens and otherwise fails to investigate a murder. Again, with the kid's cell phone right there, they don't bother trying to find out who the kid is.
