On the drive from my house to where I get on the freeway on the way to work in morning I pass three gas stations, which as of earlier last week were all selling regular for $4.459 a gallon. On Friday, two of those stations had dropped their prices to $4.399. And this morning on the way to church I noticed that the third station had dropped their price of regular down to $4.419. After Mass I ran to Costco and filled-up my wife's care and regular there was $4.199. The last time I bought gas at this Costco (the one near our house) a couple of weeks ago it was $4.259. So we're finally seeing a drop from the peak, at least I hope it was the peak.

Now of course we'll have to wait and see if the Republicans give credit to President Obama for the price coming down. After all, as the prices were going UP, they were quick to blame him for each 3 or 4 cent increase...
