Zim, when I was a kid I heard about a 70 year old woman, living alone, who shot a man coming into her house through a window. KTC would have wanted her arrested for having a loaded 12 guage shotgun in her house. Do away with all the guns and very old folks will regularly be killed and robbed. Guess it is the right of bad guys to know their victims will be unarmed.
Well, yeah.
But being an a-hole is not in and of itself a crime.
I think I've said this before.
Given a choice between armed law abiding neighbors,
and a dis-armed society I'll take the armed law
abiding neighbors.
Here's my thinking.
If my neighbor is law abiding, that means he won't
be sticking his gun in my face and screaming 'Gimme'.
In other words, I'm not worried about him.
The we got the 'jungle bunnies' from 'down in the
hood' . . . Oversized heathens who think that they
can demand and get what they have no right to.
If 'society' has had its lawful weaponry removed,
these types will have weapons - if not guns then
baseball bats, knives, etc. etc. If they know

breaking into my house and helping themselves?
In the neighborhood I don't mind living in, I figure
there's a fifty fifty chance the 'urban gorilla' will
(eventually) find himself in the wrong house and
an armed home-owner will put an end to his 'career'.
