Well, yeah.
But being an a-hole is not in and of itself a crime.
I think I've said this before.
Given a choice between armed law abiding neighbors,
and a dis-armed society I'll take the armed law
abiding neighbors.
Here's my thinking.
If my neighbor is law abiding, that means he won't
be sticking his gun in my face and screaming 'Gimme'.
In other words, I'm not worried about him.
The we got the 'jungle bunnies' from 'down in the
hood' . . . Oversized heathens who think that they
can demand and get what they have no right to.
If 'society' has had its lawful weaponry removed,
these types will have weapons - if not guns then
baseball bats, knives, etc. etc. If they know
I have no weapons . . what is to keep them from
breaking into my house and helping themselves?
In the neighborhood I don't mind living in, I figure
there's a fifty fifty chance the 'urban gorilla' will
(eventually) find himself in the wrong house and
an armed home-owner will put an end to his 'career'.
