The great mystery is someone who claims to have run companies and yet who is so extraordinarily ignorant about accounting.
Perhaps he ran companies which didn't account using the accruals method. Cash-based accounting can work well for smallish, private companies. And there can be little doubt that plod would not spot, recognise or understand the difference.
That's the charitable view.
I mean, you put a damn cash flow statement under his nose and he still can't see it. That's determination for you - to land on the collossally ignorant end of the wisdom spectrum, that is.
And poor old tour buys into a reputational view of cash flows as it appears he too cannot read one. And he does that identify-the-poster thing which he does when he feels threatened.
It's a little sad. I wonder when nxt is going to tell them, ever so subtly, to back away from this one. He at least knows enough to know very well that you are right.
There's no doubt they feel their dogmas are threatened. Wish I wasn't banned from that board so I could lend a hand.
