Though they don't know it, the folks on ABJ are actually a useful part of Wave's masterplan.

One tangential aspect of the revenue maximising model that Wave is employing is that it helps them keep a low profile. Profits draw attention. Losses make a company look unworthy of analysis.

Oh dear. This isn't a market that anyone would want to invest in. Terrible business. No one wants to adopt TPMs.

Wave couldn't write the cynics' scripts any better than they do themselves. The rubish analysis (pun intended) may be a delight to us, but it also helps maintain Wave's low profile.

Another aspect of this low profile plan is to provide info-fudge to investors. This keeps the competition usefully ignorant as well.

I expect Wave to keep things sweeter than sweet as long as they can. But once a DoD type deal appears, and Wave's opportunity becomes obvious to the world, steak will be on the menu.
