Hello. It's been awhile but I would appreciate help with a problem.
The first part is that my computer seems to work fine with two exceptions: I belong to a discussion group online with PalTalk. Saturday I rebooted my computer and afterwards it brings up the login window but instead of log ging in it gives me an error message saying that I should check my Internet connection and my Firewall to make sure of the settings. The firewall settings show this site as an Exception which is as it should be I think. My first thought was to run Malwarebyte so I updated it and then attempted to run it but it will only scan for less than 5 minutes then the screen freezes - same thing with Superantispyware. I did a full Acronis Restore but the same problems persist. I have 2 other computers on the modem with this and they both have the same problem, but only with connecting to the Sign-in link on PalTalk. Malware and Superspy run fine on them.
Lastly, I called my ISP and they rebooted my system for me but said that the problem is at the PalTalk website. Yet I'm able to get into my account there on cellphone with no problem.
Would appreciate any advice that anyone could offer.
