Governor Cuomo has been making great strides, with compromise, he has a functional body (with both parties) working for the good of the state.
I expect to see him seeking the Oval Office in the future.
Dear Fellow New Yorker,
Early this morning, New York State passed historic reforms with the approval of five pieces of critical legislation. In a new video, Governor Cuomo speaks directly to New Yorkers about these just-passed historic agenda items. Click here to watch the video.

The major elements include the passage of:
The Governor’s sweeping pension reform plan that will save state and local governments over $80 billion over the next 30 years, providing significant relief to taxpayers throughout the state;
-A constitutional amendment and legal statute that reforms the redistricting process in NYS by putting an end to the partisan and incumbent-protection gerrymandering that has plagued the process for over a century;
-The Governor’s “all crimes” DNA databank bill, which reforms our criminal justice system to better protect New Yorkers and makes NY the first state in the nation to require DNA samples from anyone convicted of a felony or a Penal Law misdemeanor;
-A new teacher evaluation system that fosters better student achievement and school accountability;
-The first step toward enacting a casino gaming amendment that will create tens of thousands of good jobs and drive tourism throughout the state.

DO SOMETHING!
