Yeah, well that's your leftist problem, killthecat ... you don't want to pragmatically plan at all ... you just want to ignore the obvious resources that are right in front of your face in favor of your fantasies about alternative energy sources. There is nothing wrong with exploring the possible benefits of alternative energy sources, but you leftists want to abandon the tried, true, and immediately available resources and feverishly chase after far more expensive and more often than not unviable alternatives. That isn't planning ... it ain't even vision ... it's gross stupidity. Rolling Eyes

Micro:

It's not about running dry. It's about oil extraction getting more and more expensive as readily available supplies are used up. Peak oil is about diminishing availablity, not running dry.

Some folks are able to plan years ahead. Others can't even envision tomorrow.
