I think maybe you heard one of Newt's relatives talking him up as the compromise candidate as surely there is no one else who would do so without irony: I don't think anyone who has actually worked with Gingrich thinks that he would be other than disastrous as an administrator of the government!

Only his ego is still afloat, and that, of course, is insinkable.

The slate of seven awful candidate is now the slate of four awful candidates. The more one sees these folks up close, the more woeful they appear. The GoP must be just desperate to turn this thing away from them and towards Obama, because Fox is doing a stellar job of arousing the fear and hatred the party relies upon for its success.

Gradually, the GoP has taken on the clarity and colour and polarities and abrasiveness of Rupert Murdoch's character. It is a sad thing to see.

Good morning Cactus Flower!

Mitt comes across like a political robot...
He is NOT authentic & that's killing him!
and his 'religion' isn't helping.

Voters might not be crazy about Santorum but at least they know what he stands for.

WHAT does Romney stand for? himself....

Now, some say if this goes to a brokered convention, Newt would be the person to get the nod, having more experience.
IF that occurs, heaven help us....

This mess has to be helping Obama.
His calm demeanor & ability to deal with issues, shines in comparison.
