...as you said, they get paid for each meeting. When they have a meetin in the morning and break for lunch and have another meeting in the afternoon, they get paid for two meetings for that 8 hours of "alleged" work.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
A BOD member can make five grand and up for each of four meetings a year that probably last less than an hour. So if you are on four boards you could make upwards of 80 grand a year for less than 20 hours. Yep, that sounds about right. BTW, the higher you vote the CEO pay, the more boards you can be on.
