Yeah, I just count them in as part of "the Street."
I just think that if someone wants to speculate on the things that drive our economy (and standard of living), they ought to have to actually own the real thing, not just roll paper positions.
They won't let us play "the numbers". But that's what these traders are doing....they've never had a drop of the real thing.
Everybody agrees that super high energy prices cripple the economy. (How could it not in a world where the majority of folks live paycheck to paycheck, and with credit, with no additional discretionary income to channel to energy.) And yet we think Wall Street should be allowed to game the thing for their massive benefit?
Makes my blood boil.
