Hi alea,

Thanks for the advice I do appreciate it.

I think I have a fairly good understanding of what negative forces are trying to achieve on the various boards, I do read as many of them as time permits. I know I should not try to get a good answer from him but every now and then I can't resist.

With Unix (he and I go back to the days on the BOB before I was banned) I was trying to see if he would respond to a straight question which of course he did not. I had originally created this response but chose not to post it as something was going on with the I hub formatting of my response. Don't know if it's their site or my computer, but here it is:

I don't believe Wave is "in Windows 8" if they are well, great. I'm more happy that MicroSoft has built in the Trusted Measured Boot of the System and utilizes the TPM/MTM on any device that has one. That allows a third party product/Service like Wave's End Point Monitor to do Attestation of the TPM that the Device Booted in a Trusted Known State. This is done while validating the Credential held in the TPM that the Individual and machine can get on the corporate server and follow policy of what that credential/machine/individual is allowed to do. The reporting is done in real time analytics so failed attempts can be reported for continuous monitoring purposes.

It's a bonus that Microsoft has demanded for Windows on Arm that a TPM/MTM functionality be present. It sets up all those 100's of millions of machines called Tablets and Super phones for the same secure measured boot of those devices.

The fact that Windows 8 supports Self Encrypting drives is a boon as well because of those wonderful patents around a High Assurance Boot using the TPM/SED and the ability to self heal the Hypervisor and Master Boot Record.

Being in IT, I'm sure you are aware of all this and are just pulling our leg.

The Beer next Dec/2012 is going to be good.

Hope you and the family are well.

Hi dreamer,

I am not sure you quite understand the exercise if you think the aim is to discover the truth. The aim is to ridicule, and ridicule can be done in broad strokes well enough. Wave and its investors are the object of the derision.

The joy of it all is won amongst those whose lives revolve around the profound delight that cackling achieves. It makes a wise pilgrim feel a very satisfying sense of superiority to be able to laugh at folks. And the funniest thing of all is the notion that any kind of attempt is made by Wave's investors to justify its attempt to build a business. What idiots. Ha ha ha!

If the ridicule also achieves some level of disruption of the conversation, then the joy is magnified further, of course. A thoughtful critique established with the intent of discovering the truth would be a mighty extravagance. It is an economy simply to touch the skin of the conversation with frequency and not to bother to scratch its surface. A poor argument will do as well as a good one.

barge, no doubt, begins to understand snackman at last. Freedom demands a thoughtful kind of regulation. The fabric of a conversation cannot withstand those whose primary intent is to destroy it and who themselves care so little for such a virtue as the integrity of their opinion. But of course, this cannot be said and indeed a post which authors such a heresy cannot abide the light for long. In the presence of a cancer, the body simply withers away. But in the end, the malignancy also dies with its host.
