Lkorrow,

re: "Federal Reserve officials are considering... print new money"

1) Does this surprise you?

2) Do you think rampant money printing will ever end?

3) What do you think of David Stockman's recent statement that it's nuts to be holding anything but cash? (Though, in fairness, what he was REALLY saying was that it is nuts to be in equities. Stockman even recommends holding some gold.)

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Federal Reserve officials are considering... print new money to buy long-term mortgage or Treasury bonds but effectively tie up that money by borrowing it back for short periods at low rates.... to relieve anxieties that money printing could fuel inflation later, a fear widely expressed by critics of the Fed’s previous efforts to aid the recovery.
