Santorum Wins Tennessee, Networks Report
Rick Santorum easily defeated Mitt Romney on Tuesday in Tennessee, according to
several news networks, a southern victory that will help him make the case for
continuing to Mr. Romney for the Republican presidential nomination.
Mr. Santorum’s victory over Mr. Romney in the state was reported by CNN and NBC.
Mr. Santorum’s campaign had focused much of its attention in the past week on
Ohio. But with Mr. Romney all-but certain to capture several other states, Mr.
Santorum had also pushed hard for wins in the South.
