I think that " cysts on her ovaries " story is a fabricated story about some unknown person. This women is the one who repeated the story.
This women wants the government to force insurance company's to pay for her to have protected sex.

and the article was saying that if she had been
taking birth control pills that that would have
prevented them?
(With the thrust of the article being that 'We'
should pay for her birth control pills because it
would have prevented a few thousand dollars worth
of operation.)
