Suits were easy. You just went to Rafolowski's and got five suits, 12 buttondown white shirts, ten neckties, two dozen calf-length socks, underwear and undershirts, brown and black dress shoes, a black topcoat, gloves and a soft hat, all on credit if you were a new IBMer. They even found you a place to live while you got settled in. You had to find your own women.
Suits... Lab Coats and Suits... Acres of disk packs, mass storage systems... otherwise, their attempts at personal computing... About my on;y impressions over the years... Other than that anti-union attitude.. they never knew what they missed!
