Sorry about last night's Idol results, Bob. I'm particularly frustrated that the show never really gave Blaire any air-time! Sure, a half-second here and there, but I really wanted to see at least a PART of her solo.... They did that with many of the other contestants yesterday!

I hate to say it, but I suspect "diversity" (and, always, RATINGS) played a role in the decision. (How will we ever know, though, since they never let us hear Blaire????)

THIS guy, for instance, was just plain awful. He can carry a tune in a so-so fashion, but he slurs his words badly and will never be on the radio. Does he get the axe? Heck no. You gotta wonder why. He sails on despite being a lousy singer.

Why ever might that be????

I hope you're proud of your little girl. Making it into the top 40 in the entire nation is amazing!
