a question i would definitely be taking up with management on the call is they say they received "no bids for the whole company"

now that could mean that they did receive bids for the non-core and core separately, but no one wanted all the patents in one bag but more importantly I suspect no one wanted the company as a going concern, i.e. with all the employees - senior management especially

not to mention the licensing team

I think they need to tell the market what bids they did receive and for what

Was this a case of management trying to preserve their jobs, not exactly like they had tons of stock driving them to get the highest possible price for shareholders.

there is much we need to hear, whether they are forthcoming is another matter

I think there is now enough institutional shareholding to start turning up the heat on Merritt, no more promises, delivery is what is needed

still big believer but something does not smell kosher
