I've been listening to all the Vegas Night performances and have to say that there were some really good acts. I don't remember there being so much talent at this point in past years - or maybe it's just that fewer individuals are head and shoulders above the rest. I don't know, but in any case, it makes this season particularly competitive.
I think a LOT of the kids are good enough to make it to the Final Twelve (at which point individual eliminations occur each week.) So the cuts in the next two weeks... thinning the herd by half each time... are going to be brutal.
On the brighter side (being a fairly objective dirty-old-man), Blaire is among the most attractive young ladies. And if anyone here thinks that doesn't matter, they're naive . . . or dumb.

BTW, I hope Blaire takes Randy's comment to heart. Her Vegas act didn't showcase her abilities at all. That's not her fault since she was in with three guys, and the song they did was probably picked with them in mind. But *I* take Randy's comment to mean that next week, she needs to really bring it.
This is the week where those who take chances and succeed will move on... those who play it safe might not, even if they've got the talent. You might want to plant that idea in her ear if you get the chance, Bob. On the other hand, maybe what I'm saying is obvious.
