Yes, that's actually a pretty old card in today's world. Fine for everyday graphics though. I'm REALLY glad I read this one before I went any further, I inferred from your reply to Micro that a two-card setup was the difficulty and I was about to type the lonnnnnngggggg set of instructions of how to handle it. I'll gladly still do it if you get a compatible card though! As a point of reference, 8800 is about the earliest you should ever bother with, about 5000 ppd, should be able to get one used 30-40 bucks. It's always the spare open pcie x16 slot I'm short, not the card, as Sun can attest to as she sent me a used spare open slot attached to its own discarded motherboard quite a while back. It's still crankin', Sun, to the tune of about 6500 ppd for the team!

"If you own a NVIDIA card, it must be compatible with CUDA, so the 8 series and above is compatible (a list is available to check if your card is compatible, including the GeForce, Tesla and Quadro lines). The GeForce series 7 and older is not compatible due to a lack of unified shaders."

It looks like a 7 series card wont work at all..... darn it.
